kailāsaśikharāsīnaṁ śaṅkaraṁ varadaṁ śivam |
dēvī papraccha sarvajñaṁ dēvadēvaṁ mahēśvaram || 1 ||

dēvyuvāca |
bhagavan dēvadēvēśa dēvānāṁ mōkṣada prabhō |
prabrūhi mē mahābhāga gōpyaṁ yadyapi ca prabhō || 2 ||

śatrūṇāṁ yēna nāśaḥ syādātmanō rakṣaṇaṁ bhavēt |
paramaiśvaryamatulaṁ labhēdyēna hi tadvada || 3 ||

bhairava uvāca |
vakṣyāmi tē mahādēvi sarvadharmahitāya ca |
adbhutaṁ kavacaṁ dēvyāḥ sarvarakṣākaraṁ nr̥ṇām || 4 ||

sarvāriṣṭapraśamanaṁ sarvōpadravanāśanam |
sukhadaṁ bhōgadaṁ caiva vaśyākarṣaṇamadbhutam || 5 ||

śatrūṇāṁ saṅkṣayakaraṁ sarvavyādhinivāraṇam |
duḥkhinō jvariṇaścaiva svābhīṣṭaprahatāstathā |
bhōgamōkṣapradaṁ caiva kālikākavacaṁ paṭhēt || 6 ||

asya śrīkālikākavacasya bhairava r̥ṣiḥ anuṣṭup chandaḥ śrīkālikā dēvatā mama śatrusaṁhārārthaṁ japē viniyōgaḥ |

karanyāsaḥ –
ōṁ krāṁ aṅguṣṭhābhyāṁ namaḥ |
ōṁ krīṁ tarjanībhyāṁ namaḥ |
ōṁ krūṁ madhyamābhyāṁ namaḥ |
ōṁ kraiṁ anāmikābhyāṁ namaḥ |
ōṁ krauṁ kaniṣṭhikābhyāṁ namaḥ |
ōṁ kraḥ karatalakarapr̥ṣṭhābhyāṁ namaḥ |

hr̥dayādinyāsaḥ –
ōṁ krāṁ hr̥dayāya namaḥ |
ōṁ krīṁ śirasē svāhā |
ōṁ krūṁ śikhāyai vaṣaṭ |
ōṁ kraiṁ kavacāya hum |
ōṁ krauṁ nētratrayāya vauṣaṭ |
ōṁ kraḥ astrāya phaṭ |

dhyānam |
dhyāyēt kālīṁ mahāmāyāṁ trinētrāṁ bahurūpiṇīm |
caturbhujāṁ lalajjihvāṁ pūrṇacandranibhānanām || 7 ||

nīlōtpaladalaprakhyāṁ śatrusaṅghavidāriṇīm |
naramuṇḍaṁ tathā khaḍgaṁ kamalaṁ ca varaṁ tathā || 8 ||

bibhrāṇāṁ raktavasanāṁ daṁṣṭrayā ghōrarūpiṇīm |
aṭ-ṭāṭ-ṭahāsaniratāṁ sarvadā ca digambarām || 9 ||

śavāsanasthitāṁ dēvīṁ muṇḍamālāvibhūṣitām |
iti dhyātvā mahādēvīṁ tatastu kavacaṁ paṭhēt || 10 ||

atha kavacam |
ōm | kālikā ghōrarūpādyā sarvakāmapradā śubhā |
sarvadēvastutā dēvī śatrunāśaṁ karōtu mē || 11 ||

hrīṁ hrīṁ svarūpiṇīṁ caiva hrīṁ hrīṁ hūṁ rūpiṇīṁ tathā |
hrīṁ hrīṁ kṣēṁ kṣēṁ svarūpā sā sadā śatrūn vidārayēt || 12 ||

śrīṁ hrīṁ aiṁ rūpiṇī dēvī bhavabandhavimōcinī |
hūṁ rūpiṇī mahākālī rakṣāsmān dēvi sarvadā || 13 ||

yathā śumbhō hatō daityō niśumbhaśca mahāsuraḥ |
vairināśāya vandē tāṁ kālikāṁ śaṅkarapriyām || 14 ||

brāhmī śaivī vaiṣṇavī ca vārāhī nārasiṁhikā |
kaumāryaindrī ca cāmuṇḍā khādayantu mama dviṣaḥ || 15 ||

surēśvarī ghōrarūpā caṇḍamuṇḍavināśinī |
muṇḍamālāvr̥tāṅgī ca sarvataḥ pātu māṁ sadā || 16 ||

hrāṁ hrīṁ kālikē ghōradaṁṣṭrē rudhirapriyē rudhirapūrṇavaktrē rudhirāvr̥ttitastani mama śatrūn khādaya khādaya hiṁsa hiṁsa māraya māraya bhindhi bhindhi chindhi chindhi uccāṭaya uccāṭaya drāvaya drāvaya śōṣaya śōṣaya svāhā | ōṁ jaya jaya kiri kiri mardaya mardaya mōhaya mōhaya hara hara mama ripūn dhvaṁsaya dhvaṁsaya bhakṣaya bhakṣaya trōṭaya trōṭaya yātudānāni cāmuṇḍī sarvajanān rājñō rājapuruṣān striyō vaśān kuru kuru tanu tanu dhānyaṁ dhanamaśvāśca gajāṁśca ratnāni divyakāminīḥ putrān rājyaṁ priyaṁ dēhi dēhi yacchaya yacchaya kṣāṁ kṣīṁ kṣūṁ kṣaiṁ kṣauṁ kṣaḥ svāhā || 17 ||

ityētat kavacaṁ divyaṁ kathitaṁ śambhunā purā |
yē paṭhanti sadā tēṣāṁ dhruvaṁ naśyanti śatravaḥ || 18 ||

pralayaḥ sarvavyādhīnāṁ bhavatīha na saṁśayaḥ |
dhanahīnāḥ putrahīnāḥ śatravastasya sarvadā || 19 ||

sahasrapaṭhanāt siddhiḥ kavacasya bhavēttadā |
tataḥ kāryāṇi siddhyanti yathā śaṅkarabhāṣitam || 20 ||

śmaśānāṅgāramādāya cūrṇīkr̥tya prayatnataḥ |
pādōdakēna spr̥ṣṭvā ca likhēllōhaśalākayā || 21 ||

bhūmau śatrūn hīnarūpān uttarāśirasastathā |
hastaṁ dattvā tu hr̥dayē kavacaṁ tu svayaṁ paṭhēt || 22 ||

śatrōḥ prāṇapratiṣṭhāṁ tu kuryānmantrēṇa mantravit |
hanyādastraprahārēṇa śatrurgacchēdyamālayam || 23 ||

jvaladaṅgāratāpēna bhavanti jvariṇō:’rayaḥ |
prōkṣaṇairvāmapādēna daridrō bhavati dhruvam || 24 ||

vairināśakaraṁ prōktaṁ kavacaṁ vaśyakārakam |
paramaiśvaryadaṁ caiva putrapautrādivr̥ddhidam || 25 ||

prabhātasamayē caiva pūjākālē ca yatnataḥ |
sāyaṅkālē tathā pāṭhāt sarvasiddhirbhavēddhruvam || 26 ||

śatruruccāṭanaṁ yāti dēśācca vicyutō bhavēt |
paścātkiṅkaramāpnōti satyaṁ satyaṁ na saṁśayaḥ || 27 ||

śatrunāśakaraṁ dēvi sarvasampatpradē śubhē |
sarvadēvastutē dēvi kālikē tvāṁ namāmyaham || 28 ||

iti śrīrudrayāmalē kālikākalpē vairināśakaraṁ nāma śrī kālikā kavacam |
