Garuda Purana
Garuda Purana is one of the eighteen Mahāpurāṇas, which are sacred Hindu texts. It is a Vaishnavite text that primarily focuses on Lord Vishnu and provides deep insights into various aspects of life, death, and the afterlife. The Purana is named after Garuda, the divine eagle who serves as the mount (vahana) of Lord Vishnu.
