Eka Sloki Durga Saptashati

Post Date:

Eka Sloki Durga Saptashati In English

Eka Sloki Durga Saptashati is a single-verse summary of the Durga Saptashati, also known as Devi Mahatmya or Chandi Path. The Durga Saptashati is a sacred Hindu scripture that consists of 700 verses and is dedicated to Goddess Durga. It is found in the Markandeya Purana and is revered as one of the most powerful texts in Shaktism, the tradition of worshiping the divine feminine power.

While the full Durga Saptashati is quite lengthy, the Eka Sloki Durga Saptashati provides an essence of the entire text in just one verse. It is believed that chanting this single verse with devotion brings the same spiritual benefits as reciting the entire Durga Saptashati.
